Blizzard conditions

Remember this? It's from a wintry - and decidedly white - January afternoon, but I found myself thinking of winter last night as I walked the dog. There was a distinct nip in the air and before long I found myself buttoning buttons and zipping zippers in a vain attempt to keep the advancing cold at bay. Summer's over, folks, and it's only a matter of time before we're seeing this out the window. Nice thought to end the work week, no?

The last time I saw snow was when I visited UK in November 2010. It’s still blazing hot here in Lanzarote and we never have snow! I hate the cold.

OMGosh! This kind of scene has gives me chills and not because of the cold. I drove through the night through a heavy blizzard through Donner's Pass. Near zero visibility but I knew the road well enough to know the steep cliffs on the edge! On the theme of white --- you should have seen my knuckles on the steering wheel!
