Whenever my parents told me 'no', it of course made me do 'yes'....(typical teen, eh?) lol.
The consequences of that statement could be either wonderful or horrifying, depending on the intentions of the speaker.
I am reminded of the man who said "It is easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission."
