Talking about Skype with the CBC

Following Microsoft's announcement that Skype will go dark on May 5, 2025, it's safe to say an era in digital communications is drawing to a close. But what does it all mean? And what should we all be taking away from this milestone in tech history?

I'll be joining CBC Radio stations across the country later today - between 3:00 and 7:30 p.m. Eastern - to shine the light on a technology many of us will miss when it's gone.
