Quick note from Carmi:

I accidentally nuked this comment from Mark Caldwell (aka impworks) when I tried to moderate comments at the same time as I was negotiating something with my son. Not a good idea, apparently.

Here's the comment:

Love the use of light it really shows off the texture of the bark.

Always such interesting photo's...

But, I wonder did the dog really 'bark', or leave his 'mark'?

Texture you can almost feel, Carmi. Beautiful. And for some reason, it reminds me of one of my favorite movies of all time, To Kill A Mockingbird. Don't know why.

Carmi, I was so happy to see your comment on my blog. Thanks so much for dropping by. I try to get to your posts at least every other day. Sorry I haven't made a comment for a while but you are such a good read...keep at it.
By the way, love the textures and the choice of B&W for the wordless Wednesday shot.

I can feel the bark!

When I zoom in on this... I see dozens of little men standing on each other's shoulders. All that, without the aid of alcohol! Very textural.

Michele sent me back one more time before the game ends.
