Very nice, indeed. I've always loved pictures of glasses.

In fact, one day when I set mine in the passenger seat of my car to take them in for repair, I just couldn't resist taking a picture of them. Strange, but true.

Another fantastic share from Carmi. :) The simplicity of the shot and thoughts is harmonious and perfect. I think we all would do well to step back once and while and see what we're viewing the world through.

Photos of glasses by themselves always give me a forlorn feeling, like they're missing out because whoever should be wearing them left them behind. Weird, maybe, but true.

I try to view the world through contact lenses, both literally and metaphorically. Most of the time I have clear, carefree vision, but every now and then something gets stuck in them that just annoys the heck outta me!

Anonymous said...

I do love this shot, Carmi. :)

It's a great shot. I like the feet shot in the previous post also.

I view the world through the thought of "How can I blog this?" :)

thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment. your photos are great, too.

i have so many of those reading glasses around the house. so part of my answer would be; those glasses.

the other answer is my camera. there are so many times i'll look at something and know i have to take a picture of it. or i'll be taking pictures and see something through the lens that i might not have seen otherwise.

Gee I'm only a year and change too late for this, but most often these days I'm seeing the world through a 17-55mm f/2.8 wide angle zoom (with image stabilization!).

Either that or my reading glasses... kinda depends.
