a Peach. But only if it's ripe.

I'm enjoying your media blitz! :)

Carmi, thanks for visiting my blog. I love the orange! How about a coconut next? Is that a fruit? Or something fuzzy like a kiwi. Combine the 2 and you have a fuzzy navel. Sorry, that was soooo bad. Been working too hard!

Nice shot, I say go for some nice ripe watermelon.

when 'gazing' at navels, you need to touch it. The smoother the skin, the better :)

Nice angle on this one. I like the heavy shadow on it. Well done.

My WW post for this week is up.

Ugli fruit.

(I'm just glad this wasn't a body part series...!)

My kids love navel oranges, they call them bely button oranges. As for waht to shoot next.....Hummmm...If you can find it (and stand the stench) a durian would make a fascinating fruit study.

Stephanie said...

Contemplating your navel, eh?

Have you done a photo of a kiwi yet? I think that'd be interesting.

Well, have a fabulous WW, and stop by if you have time.

Love this shot of the orange. It's very effective in it's simplicity and bold too :)

I'd like you to shoot a kiwi fruit. Not so pretty on the outside but amazing when you slice into it :)

Sorry I haven't been by much lately. Life is not so good right now but I'm blogging when I can.

Beautiful orange! How about strawberries next?

Nice close up! You can really see the texture of the orange. I think you should do a strawberry next.

Beautiful orange! How about a strawberry or a lime?

Great pic! I think you should go with kiwis, they are fun.

Have you seen the kid's book "How are you Peeling?"

Sara said...

not sure why, but i've had a recent obsession with pomegranates, so i reckon you should shoot the inside of one - i think they're amazing, but maybe i'm just a bit weird (lol)

Christine said...

My favorite fruit is a pear - any variety, although I am partial to Asian pears.

Your pictures are wonderful, Carmi. I always enjoy them!

Strawberries. Maybe Grapes. Pineapple has it's own interesting textures. Oh.. don't ask me! The orange one is good!

mandaroo63 said...

I agree with barb, a kiwi would be fun! Thanks for your nice comment on my WW last week, feel free to download it if you like (the gemstones). Nice closeup of the navel. I have a drawer full of oranges we need to eat up quickly before they go bad!!!

lissa said...

Another vote for kiwi. The outside is as fascinating as and different from the inside. The drab brown leading to the shock of emerald inside and that cool pattern when you cut into one? Yup, a kiwi through your magic lens would be an award winner!

kiwi fruit!!! :DDDD

Maybe you should take a banana? If she´s green, I´ll show it to my audience. If she´s yellow, I´ll show the little fellow too :)
