A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

I wish I still did...hurts my knees and back too much now. But I still have my spiffy recumbent in the garage, just in case...
OTOH, I do ride *a* bike, but I don't think you meant a motorcycle ;)

Ride? Oh, yes.
Every day. Twice a day. (I commute to and from work on my bike and do longer rides in the evenings/on the weekends.)
It's my favorite way to start the day... rolling along, little thermos full of espresso tucked away in the panniers... a stop on the riverbank to read the morning newspaper and wake up properly...
I ride for love of the wind in my face, I ride in the rain, smoke, snow, ice and sun... because I can.
I took up bicycling (again) to control my weight and get in shape. Now I ride mostly for fun and to see new things right around the corner that I've never seen from a car or motorcycle. I'm 52 but on the bike, it's like being a kid again!
