On courage

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow.'"
Mary Anne Radmacher

I was always told that the one who doesn't say a thing is the wisest one...because they are the ones who sit back and absorb.

Love your qoute and am enjoying your greater use of them. This is one of my favorite quotes and it has been on my blog at one time. I was glad to see as it is particualy applicable to me at this time. Being in the hospital and being reminded of how much time I spend here, familiar faces, menus, routines, there are many days when all I can muster is I'll try again tommorow and sometimes thats enough

Thanks for sharing

That's a beautiful quote. I'll try to remember that one.

About 10 years ago, a young friend succumbed to cancer. A 5K run honoring her used this quote on the event shirts as well as a picture of her beloved horses.

Every time I read the quote, I think of her and the strength and courage she showed at 13 as she decided enough was enough. Her life was not in vain. She LIVED in her short time on this earth and inspired all around her.

Not giving up despite bleak results is definately brave!
But for courage- I think it's being afraid, yet doing it anyway, especially to save someone else-
