Don't cry over spilled...

Droplet
Laval, QC, August 2009

Our youngest son has many fine qualities that would make any parent proud. Neatness isn't one of them. When Noah and food converge on the same spot in the space-time continuum, gravity usually ends up victorious.

Thankfully, it occasionally makes for an interestingly spontaneous moment with the camera.

For what it's worth, I'm perfectly fine with the occasional spill. With a soul as sweet as his, I'm good with the inevitable cleanups and laundry that ensue. Even the ring of chocolate around his mouth when he eats M&Ms is endearing.

Your turn: I know you've got some red in ya. Click here to dive in. And if you've already shared, don't be shy to share again.

I'm not sure what's spilt, here, but the way the light hits it is beautiful. I am trying to imagine the scene where a spill occurs, and instead of immediately sopping up the mess, you say, "Don't move... let me get my camera!" and it results in this tranquil shot.

You do know that vampires cry blood, right?
Perhaps you should keep the boy out of the sunlight.

I was thinking exactly what Smoofus said. the refraction in that droplet is inspired. And yeah... I could picture the same scene. Wait! Don't move! Photo op!

Oh, and yes as a matter of fact I do have a bit o' red for today's offering. A bit larger than a drop of... whatever that is.

reminds me of my mother...she just can not eat a meal without getting it on herself...but I don't mind, I just hand her an extra napkin :)

While you are running for the camera, I am running for a shmatah (cloth) While you are smiling with glee, thinking what a great shot. I am rolling my eyes, not another stained shirt for me to wash.

Oh! you are lucky you're so cute!
