AND THE ATMOSPHERIC RIVER BEGINS!

A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

Carmi, I enjoy many of your photos but for some reason, this one really speaks to me. Thanks for posting it today. Have a wonderful week!
what a beautiful shot! gorgeous.
Carmi, your photos are always enjoyable, but the clarity of this one, the flow of the water here, seems very peaceful, to me. Thank you!

I don't know what that is, but I need one. Or two. Or five.
Carmi, this shot is just completely compelling and fascinating. I love the color. ...

Come to momma!!!...I have one of these archived for another WW ;) Enjoy and thx for stopping by my - come visit often!
i need a reflective drink right now!
I love the image of an olive floating in a martini glass. I wonder if that says something Freudian about me?
I like the clarity of the curves of the glass against the hazy, darker background. No reason, just like it.
I thought of Saturday night when I was taking pictures at the Mothball, which was held in an old warehouse. I took an arty shot of the beams in the rafters. The experiment didn't turn out well, but I gave it the old college try.
A friend took some pictures of me that night that made me look emaciated and pudgy. I didn't even know that my camera had that feature!
Cheers Carmi, makes me wonder whose drink that is and where they were - snazzy party or reflective evening...what were they wearing, who were they talking to... and what happened next?...
This is one beautiful shot....Stunning!
Wonderful reflections even though I can't tell what it reflects :-)
Great Photos you got here... Love it!... Visit also mine in my two blogs... here...

I'm back after my family tragedy and then break away from things. I hope your son's leg is healing nicely adn that it's not too itchy under the plaster!
I wonder what that red splash is? Napkin? Tomato? Red cell phone?
Okay, now it's gonna bug me. lol Great photo, as usual Carmi. *grin*
Great WW photo!
My WW post this week inspired by President Bush comments at the United Nations yesterday.

is that coming out of the tap? at first glance i thought it was a bottle being poured but the more i looked it appeared to be tap water, coming out of the tap! awesome.
Awesome! - as always. Happy WW. :)

Holly

That's nice. Glad to hear things went so well for Zach. And I have no idea what a halo is. I think that may make me a bigger geek, huh?
