There's nothing like a walkabout in an East London neighborhood to reconnect you with the fabric of the city. Walking past people's homes, you realize very quickly that every home, every neighborhood, every life, is ever so slightly different. And taking those differences in while strolling down a street you normally wouldn't stroll down is one of those little luxuries of life I hope I never lose.
