Our dog loves the snow. Like, seriously loves it. Bounces out of the house after a snowfall and rolls in it, sticks her nose in it, jumps through it with a joy that makes us glad she's in our life.

As I watch her frolic with unmitigated joy, I find myself wishing I could somehow tap into that energy, that innate ability to just be, to enjoy the moment, any moment, for what it is. Nothing more, nothing less. In so many ways, I believe this little one is rubbing off on me.
