#IfYouReadOneThingToday - On Craniotomies

I'll admit today's #IfYouReadOneThingToday, Frequently asked questions about your craniotomy, is a weird one. The theme is, frankly, beyond bizarre. But the writing, by Mary South, is, simply put, sublime.

Hit up the link and enjoy the read. And if you're reading something neat, feel free to share it in a comment.

Just finished The Overstory. It is a long fiction and not for the faint of heart, but the author did his research on trees and how they tie into the plants of the world.

OK I am back after I read it. In the beginning I was getting afraid. I am slightly close to a young girl who is dying from brain cancer and going through all of this shit that the surgeon wrote about. I was in tears and then became curious at what the parents must be going through with the exact samr procedures written about. Then the article became breathtaking as the woman striped her life away. Then I wiped tears away and felt very sad. it is beautifully written.
