Months after autumn supposedly stripped them of their life and their color, they cling stubbornly to this branch, whispering a constant song in the steady winds that sweep through the valley.
It's funny how some leaves stick around long after they should have fallen to the forest floor. As if they didn't get the memo.
Or perhaps they have a story of their own to tell, and they've scratched out a bit more time to tell it.
I'm no expert, but I think we owe it to ourselves to listen.
