It need not be much: if it catches your eye and you’ve got a camera nearby, just grab it. Smartphones make this ridiculously convenient.
I’ll kick things off with my car, who we’ve named Henrietta 2.0. She doesn’t get out very much these days, but she still needs the wizards at the dealership to care for her every once in a while. Better them than me.
Which explains why on a brilliantly sunlit October afternoon, I found myself taking weird photos of Henrietta after they were done with her.
Another customer arriving in her SUV gave me a long look as I worked the angles. I smiled in her general direction and hoped the sight of a stranger engaged in a spontaneous parking lot photo shoot brought her a little joy.
