She remembers details about me that even I may have forgotten.
She watches over me.
She tolerates my ridiculous sense of humor.
She and I can sit quietly in a room for hours on end, yet still feel connected.
She is proof that sometimes good things happen to guys like me.
She looks at me like you see here.
She is my Valentine - for the 39th time today.
She is, more importantly, my best friend. Since the first day we met as teens beside a swimming pool on a brilliantly sunny morning.
The sun was shining on us then. It still is. Even more so.
