We're still taking submissions for this week's Thematic Photographic theme, sweet. It's most certainly NOT too late, and you can share your photo by clicking here.

Next week's theme is shadow, and if you come back at precisely 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the first shadow-themed pic will be up. I've begun posting the theme a little early to give you a chance to mull over how you'll explore things over the coming week.

Your turn: Favorite jam. Please discuss. And what would you say if you met Mr. Smucker in person?

My very favorite jam is raspberry on scones (aka biscuits). I have a hard time with the seeds, but it's worth it!

"Hey, Mr. Smucker -- wanna jam?"

Right now, in my fridge is a jar of homemade blackberry jam hand picked and cooked by little me. I had a Martha moment. It's very tasty.

Hey Mr. Smucker....your name rhymes with trucker.

Wow, that picture is sooo sharp.

Happy WW! Come check out mine, it's up here.

Not much of a jam/jelly lover myself. But I guess something in the strawberry family would probably suit me if I were inclined that way.

I'm digging the idea for the next TP theme too. Not sure exactly what I'll do with it yet, but the possibilities, as they say, are endless. All matter casts a shadow, sooo...

I'd ask Mr. Smucker to make some black raspberry jam. It's so hard to find and it's my all-time fav.

Love your shot, Carmi. The color and texture are just beautiful! :D

You do good, Carmi. Rhubarb preserves are my favorite. They don't have seeds either.
Happy WW! I'm on the road today.

Favorite jam? Anything homemade, but blueberry and mixed berry probably top the list. I love the way you've captured the light flowing through the bottle in this one.

Can we share older posts for TP too? I've got some shadow pictures that I really love. My favorite has been accepted by a literary magazine (due out this month!) so I had to take that one down but I've still got some others I'm really happy with.

Neat photo. Reminds me of a scene in a film I once saw in which one of the characters used jars of jam almost like stained glass.

She piled them in front of a window and let the light shine through.

When I was young, my mother would gather guavas, and cook them and make jelly out of them. When I lived in Haiti, guava jelly, jam, paste were all favorites.

Blueberry. When we were kids we'd pick bluberries down the street. My dad poked holes in cans and put string through them so we could put them around our necks - leaving 3 girls to pick blueberries with both hands! We'd get home and my Mom would make blueberry muffins. Any wonder why blueberry would be my favorite jam? Nice shot of the jam! I'm going shadow hunting now :)

I will be back later to check on the thematic theme, so that I can join next week. I'm quote proud of my WW this week, I think one of my achievement...and hope you find time to visit me. :)

Happy WW!

I don't like Strawberry, so I guess anything else is okay. I prefer the all fruit stuff as some of the other stuff is just to sweet. Concord Grape ROCKS!

Oh, unless it's HOMEMADE Strawberry, then it's awesome.

jam is my speciality, but not mr. smuckers, i love to make my own. my favorites include blueberry and red pepper jelly. mmmmmmmmmmmmm. i've always wanted to make marmalade in the winter, when the seville oranges come in season, but i hate marmalade to eat, it's more of the sunshine in a jar on your shelf idea during the snowy winter days that captures my interest.
