On a grey autumn day so cold I can feel the wind slipping through the zipper of my jacket, I stand beneath a massive high-tension power line and listen to its soundtrack of ominous crackling and near-melodic thrums of air rushing through exposed steel.

This isn’t quite a sightseer’s paradise, but we don’t always get to choose times and locations, so we make do with what’s been presented to us.
