You do realize this is the only time our youngest is ever still?
That's really not true...how many times have gone in to check on him and he's at the opposite end of the bed!

Just joined the WW parade for the first time. However, I seem to have fallen through a hole in the time-space continuum. My photo is clearly anchored in autumn.
Well since it was taken in December, he must be thinking, "I hope Santa brings me that new bike."
Visions of sugarplums?? I always loved watching my kids sleep, too. Happy WW.

That is so perfect and precious. Sleeping boys have an air of innocence they often seem to be missing when awake--at least that is the case with my own.
That's an amazing shot. I must admit, I love to watch my kids sleep too - so much peace. I've never thought to photograph them though. Now I will!

re: the obit... unless you're desperate to get rid of the apartment, I'd probably ignore the request.. just pretend it didn't happen lol... don't usually do that sort of thing, or unless these people are known for their artful social skills (I know a few people who are naturally like that), than you take that into consideration.

I have so many pictures of my children sleeping. I just love to look at them when they are so still and peaceful, the rest of the time they are such balls of energy.

They return to angels in their sleep--no matter how old they get.
I sometimes watch my thirteen-year old when she sleeps--just to remind myself of her innocence. Her rolling eyes and sarcastic mouth disappear into a baby's face once again--long eyelashes rest on rosy cheeks, eyebrows relaxed, mouth still.
I should do it more often so I don't forget!

I'm not good at coming up with captions, but I did want to say what a sweet picture this is!
I have two boys, grown now, 20 and 21. When they were little, all they seemed to think about was how they could save the world. Their imagination and their world of warriors gave me lessons unimaginable. I love this photo, it brings me back to those days of little boys and the life of imaginations.
I think he's dreaming of "Snips and Snails, and Puppy Dog Tails".
My Mother always said that when children sleep, they play with the Angels. I truly believe they do.
My Dear Daughter is almost 24. She works nights, yesterday she came over after work and went to sleep in my bed. I peeked in on her, brushed her hair from her forehead and just gazed at how peaceful and beautiful she looked. Once again she appeared to be that very small child I stared at so many years ago. It was an unforgetable moment for me.

That is precious! I would say all kids look like angels when they sleep, but I once babysat for an 8 year old girl who slept with her eyes open. It totally freaked me out every time - especially the first time when I thought she was dead... 8-)
Man, I totally missed WW yesterday...crazy week. But this pictures is AWESOME. It just sings to the heart. Great capture.
