Yet here I am on a dull-ish afternoon practically hugging the outside wall as I stare almost straight up at the textured surface, wondering if perhaps the life choices that have led me to this moment may have been somewhat less than optimal.
Hockey parents in logo-covered jackets clutch their disposable coffee cups as they walk past and try to hide their curiosity. But their sidelong glances and furrowed brows give them away. I'm guessing guerilla photography isn't much of a thing here.
Pity that. Because even the overtly forgettable deserves to be remembered. Even the routine can be extraordinary.
If, that is, we choose to look at it in a different way, through a unique lens, without worrying what others might think.
I don't. And because of that, today I come home with something that ensures this particular moment will stick with me for a while. Added bonus? No one was injured in the process.
My question, then - because you didn't think I'd miss an opportunity to spread the joy - is this:
What's your next shot going to be?
And while we're at it, one more question:
How will you make the ordinary extraordinary?
