Special bridge in a special place

There's a pedestrian bridge that crosses the river beside Gibbons Park, with a neat cable-stayed railing system to keep folks from turning it into an impromptu diving board.

It's functional, but also really cool-looking.

I hope whoever designed and built this years ago knows that after all this time, countless people still take the time to appreciate the tiny designed-in details that continue to benefit us all to this day. It may seem like a small thing, but it really isn't.

Consider this my silent thanks.
