Why we do what we do...

Our seven-year-old daughter helped put a whole lot of things in perspective for us earlier this week. Little people can sure be wise.

Thats beautiful. It reminds me of how lucky we are to have little people in our lives to cherish and to bring us back down to earth every now and again.

I make sure to keep a few of those things. I have a file folder for each child.

It just makes the commuting and the bills and the bullshit at work worth it.

Great website. If you don't mind, I'd like to link it to my site, The Poutine Diaries (poutinediaries.blogspot.com).

Thanks,

Steve

My 8-year-old daughter frequently leaves me similar love letters. I keep one taped to my bathroom mirror, to get my days off to a good start.

It's amazing what a few words can do, if they come from the right person.

I wonder why she thinks your head is so much smaller than her's and Mommy's? LOL!

(Sorry...couldn't resist!)

Thanks, everyone, for your comments. I'm so happy I was able to spread a few smiles around.

Steve: Thanks for the cross-link offer. Absolutely! I'm going to add your site to my sidebar momentarily. You're an awesome read - and someday I'll tell you my own poutine stories (I'm from Montreal, where this confection is more than mere food. Rather, it's almost a religion until itself!)
