A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

regret ( to quote a friend recently) is a horrible word
Thanks Carmi for posting, just right when I needed it most!
.....or maybe when we feel a sense of regret, instead of telling ourselves it is wrong to feel that way, we see the emotion as a messenger to re-visit, re-evaluate and then forgive. Its the only way to truly let go of regret which ultimately will lead to resentment and then we're in REAL trouble!!!! :)
totally agree w/the quote... i have had regrets and sure u can dwell and feel bad to what shoulda, coulda... then again, there's a reason for why things happen.. i've learned to figure out the regret which is = to a lesson ..
"Regrets... I've had a few..."
I think Awareness has a good point. It's unhealthy to be ruled by regret, but I don't want to ignore it, either. I'm trying to use these kinds of feelings as healthy learning experiences.
Thanks great quote I needed that today

Anyone who says they have no regrets is either not being forthright or simpluy not trying hard enough. Exceptions...Mother Teresa..Gandhi
