I'm still stuck in the house with a stuffed head, congested chest and a miserable mood. So I thought a cool-looking picture from the macrophotographic archives would make me feel better.
It didn't, but maybe it'll bring a jolt of goodness to your life.
What is this picture saying to you (aside from "tongue", of course)?

My first reaction was "Eewww, giant bug!" Which is odd because a) it doesn't look anything like a bug and b) I don't generally find bugs to be 'eewww' at all. I kind of like the little beggars - except earwigs. They give me the creeps. And bear absolutely no resemblance to your picture, so I don't know why I mention them, except perhaps as evidence that I need a break. Or my fever's back.
I hope your cold clears up soon - I'm on Day 11 of mine, and heartily sick of coughing.
green, fuzzy, violet
Hope your cold vacates soon. Are you in need of some meds? That's what it took to finally get rid of mine. Good luck - hope you're feeling better soon.
I'm voting for Violet leaf, too.
I'm sorry you are feeling yuckky, Carmi! I know what always does me good is to slather some Vicks VapoRub on my chest and throat, put on an old t-shirt and go to bed! Hope you get to feeling better!
Bummer, can't be lazy anymore. ::sniff::
Fuzzy!!! I love these leaves! And they're thick, too, not weak, delicate little things.
Carmi, this photo suggest strength, softness and vibrancy, especially for those of us going through "mild" illnesses. See? I found a reason for it to make you feel better anyway.
Feel Better! Now!!! ;)
When I looked at the picture, my first thought was "I wonder if it's a plant with flowers."
Now, considering I tend to kill any flowers in the house, that's almost scary...
My first thought was "ewww...cotton mouth." Hope you are feeling better soon. Stay warm!
I don't know why but I see part of a fish.
