Love this shot, I love wandering down streets looking for interesting shots.

I love this photo! (Do I say that every week?) When I see buildings like this, I think of all the people who have lived in them and all the everyday dramas that have taken place there.

Sorry... no good story today, but I love this shot.
I love the color and can only imagine the many lives that played out in these buildings... who knows what drama took place inside or the emotion or creativity. One could write a short story for every window!

I love that the buildings are different even though they are connected! The colors are beautiful.
Oh boy...these buildings have so many stories to tell! Stories of people who lived and died there, stories of change, of joy, triumph, despair, and grief. Pictures like this just make me dream.

Playing catchup again, this photo is motivating me to go and shoot some of the old buildings around our small town from early 1900s or late 1800s. They are slowly but surely tearing them down and I really need to get out there to capture them before they are gone.

Really neat shot! I try to look for things others would just pass by, too.
At one of the monuments in Washington DC, I got down on the ground and shot up. People looked at me like I was nuts, but as I was leaving, I noticed others doing the exact same thing. :)
I love old buildings like that.. I often wonder what stories those walls hold as well... I took a ton of pictures of buildings when I was in New York and London, England last fall...

I would have loved to have lived in one of these at a time when people really cared about each other and looked after each other.The person on the other side was your neighbor, "part of your family," - not just another body on the other side of the wall.

Story of the 3 buildings.
Ray's Revenge.
Jim and Eli decided to pep up the neighborhood with some spicey Venetian colors, evoking some life and joie de vive. But because Jim never returned Ray's Paint Sprayer, Ray never spoke to him again, and purposefully painted over his Tuscan Red home to a flat ugly grey, bringing the property value down. Ray's revenge.
