Thematic Photographic 371 - By the water's edge

Curiosity
Port Stanley, ON
August 2015
We're starting to see a lot more beach-themed pics on social media these days, likely because here in the Great White North the temperature finally flipped from winter to summer (no spring...yay!) and everyone's making a beeline for the shore.

It won't be long before we load up our own not-so-little folks and head for the water. So to inspire our summery journeys to happy places like beaches, docks and riverfronts, I thought "by the water's edge" would be an appropriate and fun theme. Because we all need a happy, and photography is an ideal means to that very comforting end.

Your turn: Shoot a scene from the water's edge - remember, anything goes, so don't hesitate to stretch your creative boundaries. Post the result - or results - to your blog or website, then leave a comment here letting folks know where to find it. Visit other participants through the week to share the photographic joy, and feel free to invite a friend along for the ride. For more info on how Thematic works, click here. Thanks again for making this such a highlight. Enjoy...
