Running water has its own sound, energy, texture.

But you'd never know it if you didn't crouch down just so by the edge of the river and get as close as possible to it.

Down here, the air, churned by the water beneath it, just feels different. Cleaner. Fresher, even.

I can't describe it. Nor can I ever come close to capturing it in a photo. You’ll just have to trust me. And maybe when the weather's right, you'll get to experience it first-hand.

Safely, of course.

For now, enjoy the scene from one of my favorite stretches of running water.
