Thematic Photographic 292 - Reflective

Reach for the sky
London, ON
December 2013
I've selected this week's Thematic theme, reflective, because I was flipping through my recent archives and realized I had a ton of window, mirror and similar reflective pics. It's funny how that happens, because I didn't consciously set out to shoot reflective scenes, yet for some reason I ended up with a surplus of them.

Is this the universe trying to tell me something? Perhaps.

Whatever the reason, we'll be shooting into glass and other reflective scenes for the next week. Are you up for it?

Your turn: Shoot a reflective shot - as always, how you choose to interpret the theme is entirely up to you. Post it to your blog or website (or Facebook, Twitter or Instagram stream, or anywhere else, for that matter) and leave a comment here letting folks know where to find it. Pop over to other participants to share the photographic joy, and feel free to drag in a friend or ten, because photography is always better when there's more of it. For more info on how Thematic works, click here. Otherwise, I'll leave the rest to your optical brilliance. Have fun with this one, gang.

So I'll try not to be annoying with this theme. But I love, love, love reflections. Here's the first:

One of my very favorite reflections. Probably ever. Shot on Easter morning.

Okay, this is the last one...for tonight anyway. Unless I'm breaking the rules and then I'll stop altogether.

I do love your picture, btw, Carmi. I always do. I've just been away from the blog world too long and hope to be back. :D

This is a second one...... more on the lines of reflective..... thoughtful kind. No mirrors or water here just another twist to the word.

Carmi, this replacement window in a downtown bank provided this reflective image.

Carmi, I sure hope you catch all these awesome, reflective captures. All of them, spot on this week! Can you tell I like this theme. I'll be back with round two! :)

Sadly, I fear the sun will not be playing in this theme!

I'm glad I took my reflective shots yesterday; today I need wipers on my glasses.

Gilly and Bob kindly pointed out that there was a problem with the link in my comment above. Try this... http://randomoutrageous.blogspot.ca/2014/04/some-shots-of-pond-at-royal-roads-garden.html
