This is another one from my snowy walk to work last week. What caught my eye here was the nice little arc of the fence, and the warm color of the wood against the decidedly dull backdrop of the now-white and leafless forest. It's another one of those I-want-to-be-there scenes. Hopefully, I'll get to go back soon.

That snow looks beautiful, unfortunately we don't get snow where we are, but I would like my kids to see snow on day.
They would absolutely love it - I can just see the snow fights and snowmen!!
Awesome Photo Carmi!
It reminds me of my childhood.
My god parents owned a small hobby farm in rural southern Ontario. Mostly show horses and dogs. The fence that surrounded the property looked like this every winter. I remember those days like they happend just yesterday.
I miss the pureness of nature that we are robbed of by living in the middle of a concrete jungle.
The convenience of the city is so addictive though.
I am so glad to catch glimpses of it every now and then. Makes you appreciate it all the more.
Thank you Carmi.
Beautiful! - Photography - Yet another talent of the amazing Carmi!
:-)
I have been so excited about snow this year, and it's in the stupid 60's outside! Global warming sucks. But I am putting up my xmas tree early, as a sort of "snow-dance." Hope it works!
Carmi, this is absolutely beautiful. These are the best words my awestruck-self can find right now, so I'll leave it at that and hope that you catch this.
Thanks, everyone! I hope Blogger doesn't have a theoretical limit on the number and size of pictures that can be posted to any one blog. I seem to have lots of photos - and stories, of course - either hanging around my hard drive, or bouncing around my head. More to come...
