A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

By thinking outside of the box.. Stop being conventional, take a risk...
"I can never stand still. I must explore and experiment. I am never satisfied with my work. I resent the limitations of my own imagination." —Walt Disney
Maybe Mr. Disney has suggested the correct focal point.
By letting them wander. It is the only way to stretch the imagination.
An imagination that IS out of focus is actually IN focus! ~ j///b
In respect to my photography, I like to surround myself as much as I can with creative and imaginative people. When they are out of my life or at a distance, I find something lacking.
So true...people without good imaginations are such a drag! I have to thank my mother for banning TV and video games, it developed my imagination. I wouldn't want to live without it...
Are you sure this is #12? The last one was also #12.
Thanks for catching that, Ankita! I've fixed it.
I've been sloppy this week :)
Blackberry week? :P
Btw, I was so busy gloating over catching that, I forgot about my actual comment.
It might sound silly, but sometimes when I don't imagine as well as I'd like to (say writer's block), I often meditate. Preferably outside. Not possible while answering language exams, sadly. Exam essays are one hell of a creative canvas.
Talking to my Mom also helps. She's an artiste aside her profession, and I often have really colourful conversations with her.
I think Mr Twain is always right...they dont make men like him any longer! :)
