"Don't think there are no crocodiles because the water is calm."Ominous-sounding, isn't it? How do you find, and avoid, the proverbial crocodiles?

A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

Its hard, but, I try to remember that what will be will be... I have no control over what will happen nor the result...I can only do what I think is best at the time and who is to say that decision is best? What a catch 22 that is!. lol
I stay in the middle of the river and paddle my kayak with enormous vigor.
Wait.
Whaddya mean there're no crocs in Alaska? And all this time...
You walk softly and carry a big stick, of course. :)
Great quote! People always comment on what a calm person I am... if they only knew about the maelstrom beneath that calm, often with a few lurking crocs!
Sometimes its best to confront a croc and try to stare it down. Sometimes, its best to ride it down the river. Sometimes its best to turn on your heels and run away as fast as you can!

Things are going to happen, nothing to be done about it. I just try to take the "crocodiles" in stride.
There are those that dont go near lakes where crocs have shown up. I always, feel they are missing out on some wonderful sights !
And here is my own story of sighting a crocodile in a lake, very close to where i live !
