A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

It seems as tho, the older I get, 'death' does tug at my ear... I've learned what it is to deal w/loss... Its strengthened me, and makes me appreciate each moment..,.. Life lessons! oy vey!.
YES.
But I do hate the new word verification. Any chance you could go to your settings and get rid of it (Hilary at The Smitten Image had a tutorial on it today) since you already have comment moderation?
True for all of us grayheads. And there does seem to be a movement toward removing word verification and just using moderation on the older posts.
Thanks so much for letting me know that the word verification thing was activated on my blog. I've always set it to "Off", and was frankly more than a little stunned - and displeased - to find out it had been turned on without my knowledge or consent.
I've always despised those "captcha" things as needless nuisances, and I'm more than a little concerned that they were tossed back onto my blog under the cover of darkness. Another Google bad-boy moment, I guess. Sigh.
Anyway, I've turned 'em off and will continue to monitor my admin settings to ensure they aren't updated on my behalf again. I appreciate your help in identifying and resolving this issue.
