I'm terrible with good-byes, so when it's time for me to leave someplace special, I move slowly, linger, make excuses, and and as you can see here, look back.

Any beach anywhere easily meets the "someplace special" bar, probably because it's so elemental. Wind, water, sun, life...it all mixes together here, in a place where the rest of the world kind of gets left behind. 

No one works in this place where land meets sea. We're drawn to it precisely because it allows us to truly get away from the everyday.

Which likely explains why it's so difficult to leave. And why one last look always seems to be called for before it's time to return to our regularly scheduled lives.
