And cherry milkshakes. Specifically from Shaw’s Ice Cream, that magical place between the cornfield and the farmhouse that I strangely insist on photographing every time we’re here.
We had no idea she was fan of frozen confections, either. Now we know.
* Po has always been my favorite Teletubby, likely because she's the smallest and the youngest one. I have a thing for the underdog.
I’ve had her for a very long time. Decades. She was a Happy Meal toy when our kids were young enough for Happy Meals. Our son soon tired of Po, so she migrated to my camera bag, my backpack, whatever I was carrying at the time. She’s been everywhere, always up for a new adventure.
She’s become rather frayed over the years, but every one of those random strings of worn fabric represents a smile, a spontaneous conversation, a moment of connection with a stranger. I can’t imagine hitting the road without her.
