Another little man enters the world...

Sometimes, it's nice to share a happy.

Oliver Lucas Levy-Jones made his grand entrance at 9:13 a.m. EST in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He weighed 7 pounds even, and he's as healthy as can be.

Why am I writing this? His Mom is my sister, Shira. Mazel tov to Shira, Dave and big brother Ben as they welcome their newest bundle of joy and opportunity to the planet.

Mazel Tov is RIGHT!! Enjoy your new little nephew.

On an unrelated note, I used to have a parakeet named Shira. I had no idea it was a real name . . . I thought I made it up (I was about 12).

I love stories of new babies! I would have had 10 if I could afford, love and take care of them. Instead I had 3 and took on 4 dogs, 4 cats and at one time, some fish and 3 foster kids.

What does Mazel Tov mean? Congratulations?

Righteous. I've stopped congratulating people for engagements and weddings, but having a baby... that's flat-out righteous.
