When I need to know that all is right with the world, I find myself looking at images like this. These little folks who look strangely like me are a constant reminder that my wife and I are two incredibly lucky people.
The only gift I could ever ask for is right here.

That picture right there so clearly demonstrates reasons to be thankful. I, too, am thankful for my kinderlings and all the joy and wonder they bring. Right at the moment, I'm thankful that I finally seem to be kicking this horrible case of the flu I managed to catch for Christmas.
And as always, I'm thankful for my wonderful husband (who put up with me when I couldn't move on Christmas!) and my family. :)

I look to my kids all the time to bring me back to the ground and put me right where I need to be.
Other than my family, I wrote a grant this year and the non-profit was funded as a result. I think it is one of the things I'm most grateful for this year.
