A rare image

When I need to know that all is right with the world, I find myself looking at images like this. These little folks who look strangely like me are a constant reminder that my wife and I are two incredibly lucky people.

The only gift I could ever ask for is right here.

Your turn: What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful that my family was together for the holiday and that mum, dad and grandma are still with us.

Hope you had a wonderful day.

That picture right there so clearly demonstrates reasons to be thankful. I, too, am thankful for my kinderlings and all the joy and wonder they bring. And I'm thankful for the consistently good and thought-provoking items you provide here for us all. Happy Hannukah to you and your family, and may your new year be overflowing with blessings.

Your children are beautiful!

Right at the moment, I'm thankful that I finally seem to be kicking this horrible case of the flu I managed to catch for Christmas.

And as always, I'm thankful for my wonderful husband (who put up with me when I couldn't move on Christmas!) and my family. :)

What a precious photograph, Carmi! Yes, You must be proud! Happy Hanukkah! I just heard a debate on NPR about how Hanukkah is spelled. Funny!

Hope the Season is filled with Laughter and Joy for you and your family!

Amen. Even without my own two reminders running around, I could understand how images like this warm the soul. Thanks for sharing the reminder.

Happy Hanukkah to you all!

You have beautiful kids Carmi.

I am thankful for my husband, who puts up with me, and for my son, eho looks up to me.

I'm thankful for pretty much the same...those two cuties who look so very much like me, but have their own wonderful growing personalities.

I'm thankful for a husband who loves me and supports my endeavors, and still (after almost eleven years) brings me flowers when he goes grocery shopping.

I'm thankful for the unconditional love I get from my dogs - puppy kisses make everything better.

I'm thankful for family and friends, including the "friends I haven't met yet" whom I only know via the net, who may not always be here in body, but are always with me in spirit.

What a great picture! It isn't easy to capture them in a moment like that - and even harder to capture it on film!!

I'm right there with you Carmi. I'm most thankful for my children, and my family and friends. Nothing else matters....

Other than my family, I wrote a grant this year and the non-profit was funded as a result. I think it is one of the things I'm most grateful for this year.
