Moderne Arte: Computer Complexity, OUCH!!

A brief-yet-ongoing journal of all things Carmi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll reach for your mouse to click back to Google. But you'll be intrigued. And you'll feel compelled to return following your next bowl of oatmeal. With brown sugar. And milk.

Carmi, this is in no way boring to me. A fellow blogger, Z, sent me here because I'm an amateur photographer and she thought I'd enjoy your site. Boy, was she right!
Your images are just my style.
They speak volumes to me.
Volumes.
My heart aches at the sight of the addict.
My heart calms at the sight of the waves on this post.
Your shot of the yellow car is similar to one I've taken.
Thank you for sharing.
I love it here.
It makes me feel just a little bit more legit!
:-)
I totally agree Cami. And the best part is when you shoot a difficult and unpredictable subject and you get a shot that rocks, the feeling of elation is that much stronger! And this picture rocks ;0)
Glad to have linked you guys together! AND, I see where you're in London, Ont, where my sis and her family live (both profs at the UWO!) I love that town...lucky you!
I LOVED your pictures enough to send your site to pinky. I knew she'd like your pix and you'd like hers!
I found you through Lacoochee Kid.

Happy to see you're gaining new fans all the time Carmi. Happy, but hardly surprised. I think the unpredictability factor is one of the reasons I enjoy shooting hockey games so much. You never know where to look, because the shot that lights the lamp could literally come from anywhere. (Remember that 100+ foot bouncing shot in the first round playoff series between Nashville and Detroit last year? That's what I'm talking about.)
But you nailed this one. I love how the whole shot is monochrome... but not. And the color of the water is stunning.
Hi, Carmi,
I finally got a water photo(s) up. Just a little late.
Was that water as clear and refreshing as it looks?
I absolutely agree: predictable is just that... predictable. If you see it coming, then where's the fun? This shot is so full of action. Definitely not predictable.
