Headed to sea
Wind power
Deerfield Beach, FL, December 2008
There are days when all we want to do is hop on a sailboat and let the wind carry us wherever it wishes. Standing on the shore watching complete, near-invisible strangers do just that, I felt a slight twinge of green.
Maybe today's the day.
Your turn: Where do you want to go today?

Somewhere a good book will take me.
I want to be on a mountain Carmi, somewhere high and desolate.
I'm hoping for fine weather in the weekend, so I can start walking in the hills again. And next month, I'll be spending a couple of weeks in Northern New South Wales where I am hoping to ride a camel.
I have lots of long term dream destinations, but given the wet winter we have been having, a simple walk in the hills will do for now.
Today I would like to be anywhere in the great outdoors, dont mind where wood, beach, countryside. so many beautiful places around where we live, its a crime to stay at home.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a lovely comment, I am now going to explore yours, today's photo looks so calm and peaceful, also loved your seagull photo
Carmi's quoting Micro$soft? Surely a sign of the Apocalypse!
I wouln't at all mind being aboard that trim little... sloop or whatever you call it. Problem is I don't know a helluva lot about boats, so I'd be pretty useless.
