Where are my manners? I completely forgot to post yesterday, the 5th anniversary of Calli the Wonderschnauzer’s gotcha day.

Of course, the tiny schnu puppy we brought home on June 29, 2017 has grown into a somewhat larger, far more confident version of herself over the ensuing 5 years. She’s loud, full of beans, and deeply embedded into the fabric of our family.

Life with her is never boring, and even the early-morning whine-fests until she gets walked and fed have a certain charm of their own, because she’ll always curl herself up into a tiny ball in our lap once we get back into the house.

We’re lucky she picked us.
