After the rain

One of the simple joys of a rainstorm in summer revolves around walking outside after the skies have cleared. If you look carefully, you'll see all sorts of signs that the world around you has changed, subtly and temporarily, because of the passing storm.

But you have to go outside. And you have to look.

The sound of it against my window. The way the air smells. The way the colours of the world are just a little more vivid.

Summer rain ...is the only type of rain that has me more then willing to go on outside and Stand in it.....head tilted up to the sky and feeling the water run down my neck
