Sunsets from here were always something of a thing for both him and my late mother-in-law, especially when I cracked the camera out in the middle of dinner and ran outside to capture a particularly resonant moment in the western sky.
I'm pretty sure they got a serious kick out of my photographic weirdness.
I miss being able to take photos like this from this spot. But I miss them both so much more.
