Glass is an amazing creation. Depending on how simple grains of sand are melted, tinted and shaped, it can be clear, translucent, reflective, pretty much whatever its creator wills it to be. As you can see from this oblique perspective of a building on Toronto's Yonge Street, I'm a big fan of patterns, too.
So this week's Thematic Photographic theme is...glass. Here's a quick reminder of how TP works:
- I post a new entry every Wednesday evening.
- Each entry has a unique theme.
- You post a similarly themed image over on your blog.
- You paste a link to your entry in a comment here. If you've already posted something that fits, simply post the link to the existing entry.
- Delirious photo sharing and happiness ensues.
Your turn: OK, over to you. I'll leave this week's theme in your capable hands. Can't wait to see your themed entries.
I always love glass on buildings...well, tall ones anyway!
very.. architectural...nice shot mine is up too.. happy ww!
I got an SMS via twitter saying this post was up, JUST after leaving work with all that inspiration! Oh well, this lead me to find inspiration closer to home!
Our TP is up, I hope you like it... Thematic Photographic: - Laundry Door Glass (burntofferings).
Mine in here at My Imaginary site. Thanks
very good and informative blog...
Well if ever there existed a good reason to A) play with my camera and B) revisit my blog, this is it! If it stops raining, I'll have a go at it!
Love your photo. Mines up also, but it may be out of context a little. Apologies in advance...
Hi, Carmi! I was jazzed about the new week of Thematic Photographic and quickly took some shots this morning... but now I am inspired to tote my camera around with me today in search of possibly more images! Thank you! Enjoy the rest of your day!
Love the pattern on the building!
I'll give this one a try.

Great project, Carmi!! learned about it through Michele's M&G, will have to remember this when I get back to normal blogging.
I couldn't resist, and since I remembered one entry, allow me to play right here with this entry.
thanks for your comment back at home, carmi. it travelled to doug rogers, a fine cartoonist from Deforest City.
