Soft light.
I know, call me a wild man. But seriously, I was looking through my archives and realized I had been shooting lots of light-themed scenes, and all of them seemed to have a certain sense of softness to them.
I didn't set out to start a bit of an internal trend, but I guess that's the way this little photographic muse of mine seems to be playing out these days. Who am I to challenge, right?
Your turn: Thematic Photographic is our weekly take-and-share-a-photo experience. It's totally non-competitive, and expressly designed to help us expand our photographic horizons. Simply take a pic that evokes this week's theme - totally up to you to decide how to interpret it - then post it to your blog or website. Leave a comment here letting everyone know where to find it. Visit other participants to share the photographic joy, and feel free to repeat throughout the week. The more the merrier. For more background on Thematic, just click here. Thanks..and have fun with it!

Here's my Soft Light.

Here is my soft light.
My hidden theme which took me a while to discover was photographing people with water lakes rivers and so on. This portrait doesn't include it but it has soft light. My subject was lit with ambient light and shot with a very shallow depth of field.

I really like this theme "Soft Light". My contribution is here: http://hiverenfloride.blogspot.com/2013/01/photographie-thematique-232-la-lumiere.html
Purr-fect capture of a smooth yet soft and, easy on the eyes ride. Bet it roars softly (hehehe) under that hood! Here's mine

Our winter-time inversion gives us lots of soft lighting!
My hidden theme was candid shots of people on the street (or wherever). This is odd to me because I REALLY don't enjoy taking posed portrait photos at all.
I love soft lighting. Not only for my photos, but in life. As you know, I spend a lot of time on the back roads of the southwest looking for odd things and places. I'm always disappointed if the sky is pure blue with no clouds to soften the light. I always think that most outdoor photos (including many of my own) are too harsh.
I've seen that headlight and it's on a nice car!
My belated entry is here.
'Soft light' is a vast and inclusive theme. :)
What a fun theme! Here's mine.

I have added another one.
I wish I had more hours in the day - some themes I'd like to work and post an image every day. This one, for example.
I've gone back for a double dip, meself.
(Look below the limericks.)

A triple dip. I took another swing at it.
Just under the deadline, here are mine.
