Wordless Wednesday - Crystallized

Brr...
London, ON, January 2009

Sorry this is yet another not-quite-wordless entry...I'm a writer, after all!

This entry completes our week-long run of winter-themed photos in support of the latest Thematic Photographic. It's not too late to share yours by heading here.

Tomorrow at precisely 7:00 p.m. ET, I'll be posting the new TP entry. To give you a fair shot at brainstorming some great ideas, the theme will be...

Transparent

If you can see through it, we want to see it (hmm, sounds obtuse, that...)

How lovely. Nature is brilliant.

What I love about this is that what looks like light should be shadow and vice versa. Truly fascinating... and engaging.

But before we move on to What should clearly be an exciting theme (get it?) Winter is going to make one last stand:

when I was little, my mom always told us that Jack Frost had been painting our windows during the night.

Now I always wondered who this Jack fellow was, and how he did that pretty stuff. ha ha

Hi ~ There is lots to see in this photo and everytime I think I am finished looking, my eyes want to go back for just one more look. I have seen lots of snow this winter but this is different.

I like the picture. Looks like designs were etched into the ice.

There's a one-armed stick man in the middle of that picture ...

Although I can't see the fugitive who is trying to find him.
