Breakfast of champions

A brightly lit table. A fresh mug of whatever warms your soul. Someone who matters with whom you can share the experience.

Not a bad way to start the day.

I'm generally up an hour or two before I have coffee. My idea day often starts with writing.

My ideal day starts when my daughter wakes up before I do, and greets me with a smile when I open my eyes.

... staying in bed to catch that tiny bit of sleep. Other than that it starts with a glass of juice and a cuddle with the cat!

A cuddle from the wife, followed by a cup of tea and not having to go to work!

Excellent question! Ideal day starts with my hubby waking me up in bed with a steaming hot cup of espresso. Too bad that never actually happens...

My ideal day starts off with a simple ritual of reading today's "Resonate With Stillness" passage (a Siddha Yoga publication) aloud to myself and to Kitty Von Kitty (she loves to pray and meditate! No joke!). Then, I do some spiritual rituals which really do refresh my outlook on things and put things into perspective; mainly getting me in touch with my heart center and away from the 'chatterbox' mind for awhile.

Then, I make coffee and eat a muffin. (I just bough a new espresso maker so as to save money at the coffee shot. I just couldn't make sense of spending $3.17 for a cup of latte when I could buy an espresso maker for $25.00! That will save me about $500/year!).

BTW-The photo in this post is one of my favorites. I love the reflection of the cerulean sky contrasted with the shadow of the coffee mug; not to mention the rays of the sun. I wish I was there enjoying a cup of joe with you and yours!

Here from Michele this time.
Ideal day... Starbuck's White Chocolate Mocha with Almond, creamy oatmeal with blueberries. You may add either a gloriously sunny day with warm breezes or a blustery rainy day (as long as there is no where to go). Either will do if you factor in a great book and a couple of cats lounging in your lap.

My ideal day starts with just waking up slowly without the alarm, and my husband then cuddling up to me to say goodmorning then lets me know he will have a nice coffee ready for me when I decide to get up....( stretches...as I think about it lol)

I love the sunflare and the shiny surface in this photo. :)
Golly would like that flower basket in the background.

Ideal day starts with a long bath and a sense of promise for fun and surprises.

My ideal day starts with both kids climbing into the 'great big bed' to tell us stories and really bad jokes. The blankets pulled up to our chins and the warmth of enjoying some good quality family tme - can't beat it.

By the way, love the photo.

My ideal day starts as they almost all do... with Champs pulling me close for a snuggle and then Sweet Girl ambling into our bedroom to join us for a snuggle, which usually turns to a mass tickling party once we've all woken up enough. By then, it's usually late enough that we scatter on the run to get ready to go. Good thing we don't like coffee... there's no time for it! (but a nice icy sugar free Full Throttle when I get to work is always welcomed!)

My ideal day is waking up knowing I don't have to be anywhere in particular especially work. Breakfast would be late and leisurely.

coffee...quiet...the news. Not that it happens that way...well, coffee's always there...but not the quiet or the news, unfortunately.
