Thematic Photographic 159 - Vibrant
Filet O Fish
Saint-Leonard d'Aston, QC, July 2011
If you're a pessimist, the world can be an ugly place. If you're an optimist, it's gorgeous. It all depends on your perspective, then, and it's up to you - indeed, all of us - to look for the beauty. Otherwise, there's no telling what kind of incredible things we might miss along the way.
For the next week, Thematic asks you to share your most vibrant pictures. What's vibrant? It can be color, as you see here. Or it can be a person, a scene, a moment that moves your soul. As always, it's totally up to you to interpret the theme. I suspect this is going to be a fun one!
Your turn: Post a vibrant-themed picture to your blog/web site - or find one you've already posted online - and leave a comment here letting folks know where to find it. Visit other participants to spread the joy. Repeat as often as you wish throughout the week, and don't be afraid to pull in friends, families, and anyone else looking for some photographic fun. That is one vibrant picture, in both the colors and the life in it. Beautiful! I'm going to have to work to come up with something as vibrant!
So I don't forget to join in this week (like I have the last several weeks), I'm posting immediately.
Here 'tis:

I'm sure I could come up with something great for this topic, if I wasn't going on holiday! Sorry to miss it, not much time left to do more than pack.
Here is my vibrant water :)

Love vibrant - chose this one
Before we get down on our pessimistic friends, consider that "Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute." As for vibrant and colorful, it's tough to beat a Chinese Festival. Or how about a blooming cactus flower?
Love your take on vibrant... Tropical fish have always been a favorite of mine... here's my entry: http://afreshstartwithkalei.blogspot.com/2011/08/tp-159-vibrant.html
Love the bright blue fish in your under-water world! Can’t pass up a theme such as this with a world so rich in color, sound, taste and expression tugging at my shirt-tails. My link is here.
I went for the vibrant colours of one particular artist.

"Filet o' fish"? You would EAT that beautiful cerulean, cobalt, cornflower, or cyan blue fish? Save the blue; eat tofu!
I followed Ti (Element 22) over here from Alaska. We should begin to see vibrant fall hues soon. Love fall with passion.
Here are my vibrant photos.

Johnina :D
Ah, Carmi, what a great theme! You have given me yet another excuse to share photos of my son's recent wedding in full dress Navy whites! Here is my post.
Tropical sea creatures are so very vibrant! It reminds me I once wanted to be a marine biologist. Before I flunked a chemistry class.

Here's my attempt at being vibrant.
The fish is such a gorgeous colour! I used to have a tank, but without much success - the fish always died, no matter how much care was lavished on them. I must admit the cats we had then used to go on fishing expeditions...
Music is color, light, sound and rhythm all rolled into one and sent across the air like a paper airplane. I’d tell you more, but that would spoil all the fun. Come on over here and take a look!
