You can, too, by clicking here.You can choose to see autumn as a season of endings, or one of clearing the decks so you can see the beauty that lies beneath. As you can see, I tend to lean towards the latter state, because even forlorn, twisted branches possess their own beauty. You just have to wait around long enough in the year to see that beauty - and you need to be willing to open your eyes to a different view of things.
Not everything has to be lush green, after all. And not everything has to conform to someone else's definition of perfection. Sometimes, your own definition is more than good enough.

I do enjoy how the luscious and vibrant life is quite busy forcing itself to be seen, even through nature's fencing! Welcome autumn for sure!

sticks, death and sad. though i am learning to make peace with fall, it still gives me twinges of sadness as it did in my childhood.
