This post will stay at the top of my blog for a bit.

Why the sticky? I hope you'll visit Words@Work. The deal is simple: By day, I am Senior VP, Strategic Consulting for AR Communications, a Toronto-based marketing communications firm. We started this new professionally-focused blog to explore how this new medium can be leveraged in a business context. Yup, I blog at work. Cool!
The blog URL is http://www.ar-com.com/blog/
Please drop in and have a read. I'd be tickled if you'd leave a comment, subscribe to the site, possibly blogroll it and otherwise spread the joy. I'll continue to write here, of course, so you'll have twice as much Carmi to read. Thanks! Go ahead...click on over. I'm eager to hear what you think.
Update from Aug 28: I've added a link to the top of my sidebar, and have pulled the stickiness off of this entry. Happy reading!

Hey, Carmi! I'm not the most tech-savvy, but I like Words @ Work a lot. Regarding Facebook and Myspace, I really don't get the appeal of having so many pretend friends. At least with blogs, we can enjoy someone based on their perspective/creativity/way with words, etc. Maybe I'm just an ol' fuddy-duddy. Anyway, I'll be sure to check back often.
Left a comment, added it to blogroll....check your gmail...
Carmi: I'll visit, but unless you start posting your pictures there too, I'm never going to see that as the preferred site to visit!

Although I like the blog and what you're trying to do (not just you, but apparently many, many others), for me mixing business and blogging just feels a little ... icky. I'm absolutely sure that in a few weeks or months my opinion will change as blogging and other forms of social networking are becoming very attractive means of reaching certain demographics.
Of course, if I have a book or something to promote - all bets are off!
Michele sent me,
Mike
Hi Carmi! Michele sent me here, and now you're sending me somewhere else. :)
Ooh, it's like a scavenger hunt.
Did I mention that I like scavenger hunts? I'm away to check out the other blog!
Carmi, I do want to visit you there and see what you've been up to, but it will have to wait until I am not so tired. I've spent most of the last 2 days in a hospital room.
Michele sent me.
Hi Carmi! Haven't been by in a bit. Have had the summer doldrums big time. Finally pulling myself out and had to come by to see what you've been up to. Also, I've been to Michele's and got lucky enough to draw you! Have a great weekend!
I like geeky stuff so I will go over and check it out.
Hope all is well.
Have a great weekend!

hi from michelle its been a while since I visited-
I'm going to leave this entry at the top of my blog - a sticky post, if you will - for a few days. That's because I'm hoping it'll encourage my beloved visitors to visit my other blog
you could write it in your description :)
Very informative... I didn't even know what facebook was until I clicked on the link you gave. :)

I like the work blog. I'd rather comment here: that way it doesn't clutter the work blog with non-professional comments: I'm curious about how you feel about the blackberry versus the iphone: do they do relatively similar tasks? similarly well? does the keyboard on the blackberry make a huge difference?
Michele sent me to ask.

Oh, and to point you to two (1, 2)
posts that I promised to tell you about a couple of weeks ago!
Thanks so much for your nice comments about LDWSP. What started as a way to keep long-distance family updated on the doings of my Short People has turned into a fun little hobby. Not nearly so important and intellectual as your 2 sites! I am overwhelmed by the rapidly-changing world of technology. It's all a bit over my head, but I certainly take advantage of tech advances in the smalls ways they help me as an individual. I am a psychotherapist so I work with people one at a time and in intimate, confidential ways, so the business end of things doesn't effect me much. Think it is cool though!
Michele sent me to you this morning Carmi...I hope you will be able to give me a call, my dear....Still trying to figure out how to do the Video...
I did go over and visit your NEW Blog....I don't understand most of what you are talking about but...I am happy you have it!
It's good to see you blogging at work...how interesting that all of this is coming around to the business arena. Enjoyed your other blog...and left a comment.
Senior Vice President! WOW... :)
BTW, Hello, Michele sent me - but I'd have been here anyway since I blogroll you...
Michele sent me, but this time I left a post on your work blog. Just came here to tell you Michele sent me!
N.
I'm headed on over that way now! I honestly don't know much about Facebook at all. It should be interesting to read about. Michele sent me but this is a daily visit anyway.
Well I'll just do that, sounds interesting! and hi from Michele's today!!!
Carmi I'll have to pop over there, but like Kenju I'm going to need to put it off until I'm not so tired and bleary-eyed.
you, friend are too kind.
I appreciate that your great eye sees something in my photography.
I just printed out abunck of my concert pics for other parents, its cool seeing them in print
Hey Carmi,
If you get a chance pop over to my blog.
I would be intested to hear your take on a question I am asking.
Have a great Saturday!
Hi Carmi...YES, YES, YES...! I would very much like to talk to you...Tuesdays and Fridays after 4pm L.A. time is NOT good! But pretty much any time in the early afternoon on just about any day would be fine...And if you get my machine...(It is me singing a very short message to you, leave your number and I will call you back....
I have had a SMALL breakthrough...the WINDOWS MEDIA is now working...and I can see some of the Videos on there...
There are still problems and perhaps you can assist me with solving this last bit.
I really look forward to speaking to you, my dear....!
hello carmi! i'm off to check out your new blog! very excited for you! michele sent me
Twice as much Carmie, wow. :-)
My company, a major consumer products conglomerate that rhymes with "Boonilever", does a lot of market research through blogs and the social networks.
I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think it sort of taints the supposedly-non-commercial aspects of the internet. I started seeing some people from my job on Facebook, and then realized they were organizing brand-related groups, etc. which was a big turnoff to me.
I like to use the internet as an escape from work...not an offshoot of it.
To each his/her own... that's what makes the world go 'round!
Michele sent me today.
Twice as much Carmi; can't be bad!
Hey Carmi, Michele sent me here so that you can send me there... Seriously, I'll go check it out. I enjoy reading your blog here and the way you look at life. I too have a work blog, but don't give it out publicly as I have made a rule for myself not to blog about work.
Hi Carmi,
I checked out the "work blog"...cool. I haven't been blogging that much at all...once or twice a month, including reading. Thank you for your kind comments on my recent aging and self-esteem post. I don't think I am Facebook material...have a myspace that's just plain silly....Granny Diva is my alter ego there. HA Hope you come to Denver soon!
Very cool. Of course, I'm of the very non techie type, but I promise to check things out over there.
Michele sent me.
