On attitude

This quote sticks with me, because I've always believed it isn't what happens to you that matters, but how you choose to respond to it. Ms. Knowlton says it so much more eloquently than I ever could:

"I discovered I always have choices and sometimes it's only a choice of attitude."
Judith M. Knowlton

Your turn: How do you keep your attitude properly focused when the world deems otherwise?

I just read a good quote by Mother Teresa on this very subject:

Basically, it's between you and the Lord. So, as long as long as your attitude is aligned with the Lord, it shouldn't really matter what the rest of the world says. Sometimes that's easier said than done though.

for me it is by reading and/or reciting positive phrases, words of success and victory.

I am loving your quotes Carmi. Choices - yes, I often think about choosing my outlook.

In general, I stop to think. I take a deep breath and realize that soooo many things are not worth the energy to respond negatively to. Negativity takes a lot of energy. By letting things go, I am not carrying them around with me.
