Snowy branches

If anyone wants to know how we're doing these days, this picture should explain all. I know being repeatedly dumped with tons of snow doesn't make it any easier to get around, but it sure makes for beautiful, temporary sculpture when you take the time to smell where the roses would otherwise be.

So you probably don't want to hear that I bought primulas for my window box this afternoon?

Which gives me an idea ...

I'd love to hear about 'em. Our snowiness shouldn't be cause for less-snowy folks to withold their experiences.

The more I look at this picture, the more I think about Q-tips. Weird, eh?

Gorgeous photo -- but I'm still glad I don't have to live with snow :)

it's fun to visit, though!

I love the way you capture the beautiful little scenes of life that we would otherwise miss. Thank you, Carmi.

I like the q-tip comment! Who was that? Oh! Carmi! Haha!!! Actually, yes, that's about the scene out my wind'er as well. I like the snow too, before it gets all mucked up by cars.

Speaking of inventions, this blogger comment page, the one that these words are typed in, took about five minutes to load. Not kidding. I played solitaire. A lot. If this simple Anon-commentor window loads so slow, why would I trust to sign in and not have their pages time out? (why didn't this one? ...hm...)

Sorry, Carmi, for the rant there. We're cool though, right? ;)

This picture is beautiful. I really like it. We had a bit of warmer weather yesterday. I was outside with my youngest fooling around with the camera and we didn't need our jackets. Stay warm. Keep the pictures coming.
